From 18 February 2027, every in-scope battery placed on the EU market must carry a battery passport, accessible via a QR code, under Reg. (EU) 2023/1542 (Article 77). The economic operator placing the battery on the market is responsible for the data being accurate, complete, accessible and up to date.
